200 million people do not have a Bible . . .

The Earth's 7 billion people consist of over 16,000 people groups who speak over 6,000 different languages.  Of these languages 1/3 have full translations of the Bible and 1/3 have some measure of partial translation, usually just the New Testament.  This leaves 1/3 who have no portion of the Bible in their language.  None.  This last third, with no Bible, includes over 200 million people.

Stats from Operation World, 7th Edition, by Jason Mandryk, p. 1
